THE 2026 GRANT APPLICATION PERIOD OPENS FEBRUARY 1, 2026.

Complete this form to apply for project or program funding during our spring grant cycle. Applications will be accepted from February 1 through February 28, 2026. Only applicants who are teachers or staff from the New Haven School District in California will be considered. Grant funding is subject to the Foundation’s annual budget.

The application period for 2026 grants is open from February 1, 2026 to February 28, 2026.

Teachers, advisors, and administrators in the New Haven School District may apply for a grant during our open application period. Grants are typically awarded in May for use during the next school year.

The dollar amount available for grants of each type varies according to the budget and resources available in each fiscal year.

You may apply for a grant for classrooms, co- and extra-curricular activities, STEM, and literacy/tutoring programs.

Grant funds may be used for the costs of a program, including supplies, equipment, software, transportation, student fees, and the like. In general, grant funds may not be used for salaries, stipends, consultant fees, or other such costs.

Award Presentation*

Grants will be distributed at a reception on May 12, 2026 at 3:45 PM, at the New Haven Unified School District office. Please put this date on your calendar NOW so you are available to accept the award if your project is selected for funding. Our outside donors will attend to present checks, and they want to meet you.
