NHSF Board of Directors

The New Haven Schools Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated professionals who generously volunteer their time, expertise, and leadership in support of the Foundation’s mission. Representing a wide range of industries and backgrounds, the Board administers the Foundation’s annual grant program, which provides funding for innovative classroom initiatives and enrichment programs that enhance educational opportunities for students throughout the district.

How board members help the Foundation:


Enhance the Foundation’s public standing by representing and speaking for the Foundation in the community.

Ensure adequate financial resources by supporting the Foundation fundraising.

Protect assets and provide proper financial oversight.

Monitor, strengthen and advise the Foundation in its efforts to develop programs and activities.

Perform all other duties as provided in the bylaws or prescribed by the Foundation’s Board.
