Pathways to Success – Community Scholarship Program

$155,000 awarded in 2019, thanks to our super-generous sponsors.

The New Haven Schools Foundation administers the “Pathways to Success” community scholarship program that provides financial aid to graduating seniors from:

  • James Logan High School
  • Conley-Caraballo High School
  • Decoto School for Independent Studies
  • New Haven Adult School

Most scholarships are offered to students going on to college, but some are open to those planning to attend a trade school or another career preparation program.

Anyone can offer a scholarship. Many are memorial scholarships, funded through endowments or annual contributions by family members and friends of former students, teachers, and administrators. Others are funded by employee groups, local businesses/organizations, and individuals.

Supporting New Haven schools and students since 1981. Nonprofit since 2007.

Since becoming an independent nonprofit in 2007, NHSF has awarded over a million dollars to provide scholarships for New Haven students. Our scholarship program was launched in 1981, but becoming a nonprofit clearly enabled us to help more students achieve higher education.
