Pathways to Success

$106,000 awarded in 2016, thanks to our super-generous sponsors.

The New Haven Schools Foundation administers the “Pathways to Success” community scholarship program that provides financial aid to graduating seniors from:

  • James Logan High School
  • Conley-Caraballo High School
  • Decoto School for Independent Studies
  • New Haven Adult School

Most scholarships are offered to students going on to college, but some are open to those planning to attend a trade school or another career preparation program.

Anyone can offer a scholarship. Many are memorial scholarships, funded through endowments or annual contributions by family members and friends of former students, teachers and administrators. Others are funded by employee groups, local businesses/organizations, and individuals.

If you are interested in contributing to a scholarship, we accept many methods of payment. Checks, credit cards, payroll deductions, crowd-funding/social campaigns… All are fine, as long as the full amount of your scholarship has been received by the deadline. Many employers also offer matching funds for your donation, which effectively doubles your scholarship award.
