Pathways to Success – Community Scholarship Program

$184,500 awarded in 2021, thanks to our generous sponsors.

The New Haven Schools Foundation administers the “Pathways to Success” community-based scholarship program that provides financial aid to graduating seniors from:

  • James Logan High School
  • Conley-Caraballo High School
  • Decoto School for Independent Studies
  • New Haven Adult School

Most scholarships are offered to students going on to college, but some are open to those planning to attend a trade school or another career preparation program.

Anyone can offer a scholarship. Many are memorial scholarships, funded through endowments or annual contributions by family members and friends of former students, teachers, and administrators. Others are funded by alumni and employee groups, local businesses/organizations, and individuals.

Supporting New Haven schools and students since 1981. Nonprofit since 2007.

Since becoming an independent nonprofit in 2007, NHSF has awarded over a million dollars to provide scholarships for New Haven students. Our scholarship program was launched in 1981, but becoming a nonprofit clearly enabled us to help more students achieve higher education.
