Fatima Silva
JLHS Class of 2000
Fatima Silva is a James Logan Alumni Class of 2000. She went on to attend Saint Mary’s College of California graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2004.
In 2005, she moved to New York to attend Pace Law School. Fatima Silva is a trial attorney dedicated to her clients. As a litigator, she fights for people accused of crimes in courtrooms around the Bay Area. Her successes and devotion have led to her being selected to star on the TV show “Reasonable Doubt”, where she partnered up with a homicide detective to help families whose loved ones have been convicted of murder. Reasonable Doubt ran for five seasons and Ms. Silva's work on the show helped secure the release of 9 inmates.
When she is not advocating in the courtroom or producing a true-crime podcast, Ms. Silva is busy giving back to her community. In 2023, she joined the Board of the New Haven Schools Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to funding scholarships, and supporting academic programs. Ms. Silva also teaches young people in the Upward Bound program, and trial skills to competitors of the San Francisco and Alameda County Mock Trial Competition.
